Listen and Walking

I'm thinking of practical ways to integrate Russian into my daily schedule. Simple things. And I want to continue to stay off social media where I'm not productive or not feeling productive. So, yesterday, when I went out to go on my run and walk, I thought of mixing it up a bit and listening to something other than music for the rest of it. I decided to listen to Russian to help with the practice of audio, and it was nice to listen to a Youtuber speaking in Russian (talking about how McDonalds has left Russia- and trying out a similar fast-food joint).

To walk and listen is such a different experience and one that I thoroughly enjoyed. I found such inspiration from it- recognizing words I know, and hearing others (based on the subtitles) and just 'feeling immersed'. I want to continue doing this on a more regular basis.
